Youth Sports

The City of Evans offers sports programs year-round for children in Kindergarten to 8th grade.

Hot Shot Sports

The City of Evans Hot Shot Sports Program is for children in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. The Hot Shot program is designed for children to learn the basic fundamentals of the game in a fun and safe environment. With this program, the teams will practice once per week with games on Saturdays, all games will be played in Evans (except for volleyball which plays with the Northern Valley Athletic Association and has games throughout Weld County). Teams will be formed by where the child goes to school, on a first-come first-served basis. If there are not enough participants from one school, then they will be combined with another school to form the team.

Extreme Sports

The City of Evans Extreme Sports Program is for youth in 3rd - 8th grade. Our Extreme program is designed for children to learn the basic fundamentals of the game, develop the skills needed to play each sport, and teamwork. With this program, teams will practice twice per week with games on Saturdays. This program is played through the Northern Valley Athletic Association (NVAA), which includes the towns of Eaton, Fort Lupton, Kersey, LaSalle, and Platteville. Games can be played at any of these sites during the season. Teams will be formed by where the child goes to school, on a first-come first-served basis. If there are not enough participants from one school, then they will be combined with another school to form the team.
